Project ADDER (ADDICTION, DIVERSION, DISRUPTION, ENFORCEMENT AND RECOVERY) is a pilot that will be run by the Home Office in Blackpool, among other locations, for a period of three years. It will focus on co-ordinated law enforcement activity, together with expanded diversionary programmes and substance misuse treatment and recovery services.
Breaking Free from Substance Use, our evidence-based digital intervention for addressing substance dependence, will be integrated into the system-wide approach to breaking the links between addiction and crime.
